ROAD SAFETY TIPS

Hearing so many accidents my heart really breaksdown. Hope the following safety tips which I learned from the driving habits of the LORD’s servant (late) Bro. C.V.Samuel (dearly called as Appacha who served the LORD JESUS CHRIST very faithfully in Dindigul, Periyakulam and Chidambaram) will be of some use to all the dear ones. (If others drive the vehicle you may check/direct accordingly.)
1. Once I had a privilege to travel in Appacha’s car from Palani to Dindigul. Though We had already prayed in the house Appacha once again asked for the LORD’s protection on the way as he put his hands on the steering wheel. Always depend on the LORD committing yourself and the vehicle in the LORD’s HANDS.
2. Appacha ensured the car was in good condition and clean. Service/maintain your vehicle periodically.
3. Appacha was very cheerful and happy and even bit jovial! See that you are fresh (not tired, perplexed and sleepy) before driving.
4. It was a bright day. Avoid (long distance) driving during night especially on the hills or when it rains or snows.
5. Appacha obeyed the signals sincerely. Follow the road rules and laws meticulously.
6. Appacha drove with moderate speed. Observe the speed limits of your area. Things go out of control with over speed. It is right to say,”Over speed thrills but kills.”
7. Appacha gave way to the vehicles front and behind. His policy was; “You-first-go.” Never go for race on the roads.
8. Appacha on the way stopped the car and visited a family. Halt in between for sometime. Who knows? You may meet some thirsty and needy souls!
9. Appacha parked the car far away from the road. Never park your vehicle in the middle of the road or in a congested place or where children play.
10. Appacha never took his eyes off the road. Remember distraction ends up in disaster.
11. After seeing the cyclists Appacha was extra alert and careful. Keep always in mind that on the roads others may commit mistakes.
12. Appacha reduced the speed on sharp curves. Be very careful while turning, reversing and in junctions.
13. Traffic police saluted Appacha. Your driving testimony will bring pleasure to others and ultimately to the LORD.

LOVE OF LORD JESUS CHRIST

Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at the church, the Pastor and his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel Tracts.

This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their tracts, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring down rain. The
boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said, 'OK, dad, I'm ready.'

His Pastor dad asked, 'Ready for what?'

'Dad, it's time we gather our tracts together and go out.' Dad responds,
'Son, it's very cold outside and it's pouring down rain.'

The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking, 'But Dad, aren't people still going to Hell, even though it's raining?'

Dad answers, 'Son, I am not going out in this weather.' Despondently,
the boy asks, 'Dad, can I go? Please?'

His father hesitated for a moment then said, 'Son, you can go. Here are the tracts, be careful son.'

'Thanks Dad!'

And with that, he was off and out into the rain. his eleven year old boy walked the streets of the town going door to door and handing everybody
he met in the street a Gospel Tract.

After two hours of walking in the rain, he was soaking, bone-chilled wet and down to his VERY LAST TRACT. He stopped on a corner and looked for someone to hand a tract to, but the streets were totally deserted.

Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front door and rang the door bell. He rang the bell, but nobody
answered. He rang it again and again, but still no one answered. He waited but still no answer.

Finally, this eleven year old trooper turned to leave, but something stopped him. Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and knocked loudly on the door with his fist. He waited, something holding him there on the front porch! He rang again and this time the door slowly opened.
Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking elderly lady. She softly asked, 'What can I do for you, son?' With radiant eyes and a smile that
lit up her world, this little boy said, 'Ma'am, I'm sorry if I disturbed you, but I just want to tell you that *JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU* and I
came to give you my very last Gospel Tract which will tell you all about JESUS and His great LOVE.'

With that, he handed her his last tract and turned to leave. She called to him as he departed. 'Thank you, son! And God Bless You!'

Well, the following Sunday morning in church Pastor Dad was in the pulpit. As the service began, he asked, 'Does anybody have any testimony
or want to say anything?'

Slowly, in the back row of the church, an elderly lady stood to her feet. As she began to speak, a look of glorious radiance came from her
face, 'No one in this church knows me. I've never been here before. You see, before last Sunday I was not a Christian. My husband passed on some
time ago, leaving me totally alone in this world. Last Sunday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, it was even more so in my heart that I came to the end of the line where I no longer had any hope or will to live.

So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic of my home. I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof, then
stood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck. Standing on that chair, so lonely and brokenhearted I was about to
leap off, when suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairs startled me. I thought, 'I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away.' I waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get
louder and more insistent, and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly. I thought to myself again, 'Who on earth could this be? Nobody
ever rings my bell or comes to see me.' I loosened the rope from my neck and started for the front door, all the while the bell rang louder and louder.

When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes, for there on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little boy I
had ever seen in my life. His SMILE, oh, I could never describe it to you! The words that came from his mouth caused my heart that had long
been dead, TO LEAP TO LIFE as he exclaimed with a cherub-like voice, 'Ma'am, I just came to tell you that JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU.' Then
he gave me this Gospel Tract that I now hold in my hand.

As the little angel disappeared back out into the cold and rain, I closed my door and read slowly every word of this Gospel Tract. Then I
went up to my attic to get my rope and chair. I wouldn't be needing them any more.

You see---I am now a Happy Child of the KING. Since the address of your church was on the back of this Gospel Tract, I have come here to personally say THANK YOU to God's little angel who came just
in the nick of time and by so doing, spared my soul from an eternity in hell.'

There was not a dry eye in the church. And as shouts of praise and honor to THE KING resounded off the very rafters of the building, Pastor Dad
descended from the pulpit to the front pew where the little angel was seated.

He took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably. Probably no church has had a more glorious moment, and probably this universe has
never seen a Papa that was more filled with love & honor for his son...
Except for One.

Our Father also allowed His Son to go out into a cold and dark world. He received His Son back with joy unspeakable, and as all of heaven shouted
praises and honor to The King, the Father sat His beloved Son on a throne far above all principality and power and every name that is named.

Blessed are your eyes for reading this message.

Dear Lord, I thank you for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that t I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing, and receive the forgiveness of God. And when this world closes in on me, let me remember LORD JESUS' example -- to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those who don't believe. But I thank you that I believe. I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. Above all the best teacher is the one who helps out the students to appreciate and reverence the Creator who is the Divine Teacher. King Solomon put it this way; “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.”

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it.

The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.

Have you locked your keys in the car? Does you car have remote keys?
This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone.

Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive yourkeys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

1. Computers can be used in education in a number of ways-
(a) administrative purpose,
(b) information retrieval,
(c) simulations.
2. A computer can facilitate the writing process, through the use of word-procesing, revising and editing. The use of electronic message can bring additional dimension to writing and communication.
3. A computer with a database management programme can support the collection, organization and retrieval of information in ways not available otherwise. Computer practice ad use of database are powerful ways to develop organization and classification skills in sciences etc.
4. Regular class use of a modem during discussions on current events or issues in social science, can allow the teacher and call to explore about any topic or issue on what is being said throughout the world.
5. Students are becoming consistently week in problem solving, both at finding solutions and more fundamentally, at selecting appropriate strategies for the investigation problems. Using a computer as a tool-by learning the application of word processor/database/spreadsheet/writing a programme – provides rich problem solving experiences.
6. Students need better skills at drafting, interpreting and criticizing graphic summaries of information. Developing the ability to interpret graphic material for graphic display is an important educational goal, not only because graphics is an important part of curricula of different subject but also because now information is started routinely to be presented in graphic form. Computers generate graphs quickly and attractively.
7. With the use of simulation programmes or combined tutorial/simulation programmes in science teaching at remove and less developed universities/colleges, where the laboratories are not equipped well with expensive equivalent to laboratory experiences.
8. The use of computer is not only cost-effective but more safer and time-effective in physics. The application of simulation programmes have been found quite effective in United States of America.
9. At higher education, in such courses, where there is very high teacher/student ratio or in courses where there are no qualified teachers or in courses where there may be only few students e.g. quantum mechanics epidemiology, etc., the computer assisted instruction might be most cost-effective.
10. Introduction of computers in school administration, implies radical changes in the working methods of managerial staff.
11. introduction of computers in education will enhance the job opportunities (employment prospects), for students to a high technological world.
